Here is a foto of part of our international women's bible study group that meets in Santo Domingo. I'm in the back row, left. The ladies group is made up of primarily missionaries here on the island, although we have those who their husband's work for the U.S. Embassy or other types of work in the D.R.
Another bible study we are a part of is next door to our apartment and is taught in Spanish. Here is Bud, (2nd from left) sharing his special "Louisana Style" Picante sauce on Miguelina's empanadas! The sauce was sent by Rich Heavener (in a lot of bubble wrap) from the States.
