Another Thanksgiving!

Mmmmm....we loooove to give thanks! Saturday, I stuffed, cooked and served turkey for Abner, Marla, Bud and I. Sometimes I forget what a great cook I CAN be! lol. While the dinners we've been to have been great, they served 'dressing' (made with cornmeal), not stuffing. Bud was taste-testing before, during and after dinner!

Thanks for Giving!

Looks like a warm Thanksgiving for us! We will be sharing thanks and turkey with other missionaries here on the island. Jennifer, Luis, (in red) and Mia and Priscilla. Rosa, Danny, Burge's, Denise, Matt, Isaiah

Thursday = Nov 26 - High 90° / Low 72°
Scattered showers
BLESSINGS to everyone!!

Hato Viejo children's ministry

This is a small village north of Boca Chica. The children are eager to learn and Leyani is a gifted teacher.

The maintence man is 'mute' ....not a term we use in the US
anymore. Bud was writing (drawing?) to communicate ideas.

Friends in ministy

These are our friends, Leyani and Eliseo Moises. We work with them in children's ministry in an area called Hato Viejo. Leyani teaches bible stories and I'm her assistant! They came here to the DR from Cuba and are praying for God's direction for their lives here.

Bless our military

For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
